Enlightenment

They come to a place of reverence

They see

They smile

They return

And they say

We went

We saw

We returned

I have been them too

Part of the mass that come, see and return

In droves as sightseers, travelers and tourists

And some out of veneration

And then in a different state of mind

I went once again

And saw

But this time I felt

The Presence deep inside my Mind, Body and Soul

I became enlightened

Intensely Enlightened, Uplifted and Empowered

And I ceased to be part of the mass…eternally
